Goose Herding

I am slowly crossing things off my to-do list while back stateside, having been here around a week now.  In a little under three weeks I will be heading to Chile to see friends, explore, eat, drink, and photograph.  This will be my first time in South America so any and all suggestions are welcome!

During my time in Vietnam, I came across this curious site while motorbiking around Hue City.  I wanted to explore the surrounding areas of Hue by motorbike so I hired a beat up, old honda for three days.  While driving through the massive rice paddy fields on the third day, I saw small white figures crossing the road in the distance.  When I got closer, I noticed those little white things were geese.  Hundreds of them were flowing across the dirt road, ushered along by the Goose Herder in yellow.

Goose herding, one of the quintessential images of Southeast Asia. :) When I was still a high school student, goose herding was something that I saw every morning in front of my house. It was really fun to watch.
