In what I would consider a photo victory, I finally found some nice Oak Trees worth shooting yesterday evening. The sunset over the Malibu Creek State Park entrance made these weathered giants that more interesting to shoot. I had to hike about 500 yards to get to this pair of Oaks, shoes full of mud and weeds, all the while looking out for rattlers and other critters (of which none I came across).
I dragged along my dad, who is an excellent photographer chauffeur Posting and running now, time to go see Abraham Lincoln. Enjoy!
I used Nik’s Color Efex Pro to process both of these photos. I also use Nik’s Sharpener Pro on every photo I export now. What awesome programs – I continue to be delighted by the quality products Nik Software puts out! You can get any and all of the Nik Software Photography Plugins Here!
