Last week I had the opportunity to spend some time in Las Vegas. One of my favorite places to visit, I can really only stand to be there for about two days. This time was a different case. I was in bed each night by 10 pm so that I would be able to get up the next morning by 4:30 am to go photograph. Two parks that are very close to the Vegas Strip, which should absolutely not be missed during any trip to Las Vegas include the Valley of Fire State Park and Red Rock Canyon.
The last evening we were in the city, I ventured out with my D800 and tripod in an attempt to capture the vivid colors that light the strip.

We managed just the one night when we did a three week fly-drive round California with extra trips to the Canyon and Vegas. These shots capture the strip very well, Adam
