Today I want to share a photo I took on a recent stroll through First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach. I posted another photo a couple of days back that I took from the dunes on the shore part of the park, which you should definitely check out if you missed it.
The photo below comes from deeper inside the park, along the Fox Run trail. Looking up, the view was fantastic from everywhere. The late afternoon light played interesting colors across the high forest shrubbery, so the photo you see below really could have been taken from any number of places in the park. Shots like this one always make me smile. Enjoy!
Thanks for visiting!

Great shot, Adam. Love the wide angle on this.
Cool shot Adam. I like the wide view!
Great perspective! Love the dense trees!
Nice angle to look up! We don’t have that many trees here in Phoenix.
Thanks buddy! Yea, it is pretty dry…
Beautiful sunsets though!
Great colour and symmetry to this and that coupled with the wide-angle provides an unusual version of a vanishing point. How wide was the lens, Adam?
