Today I give you two views, taken just a few moments apart at slightly different spots on the beach. The view is of Miseno Harbor, located just minutes from my house in Bacoli. Since it is still fairly early in the season, the boats have not returned to their slips yet, opening up the view for wonderful sunrise photo opportunities. For the below shots, one I kept as it appeared, the other I treated as a black and white image. I enjoy both but would love to hear your feedback! Thanks for all the awesome comments, shares, re-tweets, and visits!
Check back tomorrow!

Hi Adam, two great shots, on this occasion i would go for the colour, however, lose the town, (cut the photo in half) and the big cloud down to the sand in B&W looks cool. Just my opinion.
Thanks Mark! I appreciate the comment and suggestion!
I like the color image the best Adam. The light seems to jump out of it while it seems to get subdued in the B&W.

The colored one here is just amazing man! It really highlights the light!
This time the color adds so much to the scene and the B&W takes that away. Love the purple and yellow together.

Wild!
For me light is definitely the star in your color image… but in the B/W more cloud / harbor details really get drawn out, (and I think there’s a different kind of ‘narrative’ feel to it too)… also very cool. I really, really like both of the ‘looks’ you’ve created here!
I love that color shot my friend!!

I hate to go against the grain, but I like the B&W version better (and I still like the color). It just seems more dramatic in B&W, and I like that drama.
Nice one, bud. Gotta go color on this.

Hmmm…I prefer the color one, the dramatic evening feel of the atmosphere is missing in the second pic (b/w seems more still and color dynamic). And this is close to your house? You are a lucky man!
Nice work, Adam. I have to agree that the colored shot really zings here. It brings out the light. Lovely shot!

Beautiful Adam. I have to say the color one does it for me. The way the colors and light is reflected in the surf is outstanding and you just don’t get that in the B&W version.

Great seascape – think I prefer the colour version even though the b&w image is really strong

Thanks for the feedback and comment! I apprecaite it!
Two nice compositions here, Adam. At first I thought the B&W was the winner because of the wonderful details in the clouds. Then on the second look I realized that so much had been lost in the foreground in the B&W such as the reflections in the damp sand that I changed my mind. Definitely the color version!

Color! I generally like b&w but the color version “Speaks to me.”
Both are great though!

I love the color image very much.
Two great shots – Can I pick a winner….? Difficult on a Sunday afternoon – life should be easy on Sunday! I think it has to be the colour version because of that wonderful wet sand where the wave has just spent itself. What a view!
