Compilations

Well, it is wonderful to be back.  No more sleeping diagonally in uncomfortable short mattresses, working all night and sleeping all day, ship food, or unbelievably slow internet connectivity (hopefully for the last time ever).  For those of you who’s blogs I regularly comment on, I will be catching up today and tomorrow and look forward to seeing what you have shared in my absence!

Today I wanted to share a few collections I put together while underway last week.  I plan on submitting a little package to various magazine publications and newspapers this week and these three compilations will be included.  I tried to get a good mix of my work, taking snippets from landscapes, cityscapes, people, animals, and black and white photos I have taken in the past few years.   They were very easy to make if you were wondering:  Copy/past images in to Microsoft Word, formating for no spaces, sizing appropriately.  The file will be very large; to get it smaller, Ctrl + Print Screen with the collection showing, open Microsoft Paint and make 3 separate images, cropping only the photo collection area.  Paste that back in to the document and you can reduce the file by upwards of 80%, only losing a small amount of quality.  Please let me know what you think!!

Thanks for visiting!!

  17. Excellent photos… one question: Why Microsoft Word?

    • Adam Allegro says:

Thanks for the visit and comment. Honestly, the only reason I used Word was because I was out on a Navy Warship, connectivity was terrible, and Microsoft Office was all I had :) Also, since the first 2 pages were written out, the format was already in Word. Either way, it was an attempt to kill time while standing 12 hr watches in the middle of the night and accomplish some Photography stuff :)

  18. Ken Bello says:

These are an excellent representation of your work, Adam. Well done.

  19. Ketan says:

    Stunning is an understatement Adam!
Great work..will make for great coffee table books!
