Welcome back everyone! I am still embarked onboard a navy ship and haven’t had much time to post, but since I did upload some shots before I left, I felt like it was time to post a few. The regular posting routing will start back up on Friday.
While skiing last weekend in St. Anton, Austria, we got to see some awesome stuff. One of the coolest things were all the paraskiers on the mountain. We time our chairlift exit perfectly to watch this particular jumper. This was his first solo flight, and boy did he look nervous. After some meticulous inspection and a few minutes getting his nerves in check, he took a running start and jumped, catching a breeze and flying upward. It was quite a sight. While on the overlook, we saw a couple more gliders, all of whom I photographed. I think the last shot was the most unique. Enjoy!

These are so cool Adam. I don’t see why he’s so nervous about. He’s only about to jump of the side of some mountain. It look like a beautiful place to die.

It’s been so many years since I last went skiing that I would probably end up with 15 broken bones. I enjoy your photos though!
Man, that’s crazy stuff. At least there was snow. Then again… Snow can feel pretty damn hard when you land on it!
