So, after having to check my Slik Pro tripod everytime I travel, I opted for a small, lighter, and much sexier Gitzo to take on my weekend excursions to the beautiful cities of Europe. It was a tad costly, but much less than a Really Right Parts setup (which I wanted, but are currently unavailable and won’t ship out here to Italy). I think it was a good purchase! Now just need the D800 to come out and I will be set
Sunsets in Ireland were awesome. Becuase of the cloudy days, there was so much “stuff” in the sky to distribute amazing colors before dusk. This shot was taken about 30 minutes before sunset in the northern part of Ireland, in a little town called Downings. We were scouting out the marathon route when we came upon this scene. I had to climb over some fences and trespass on 2 people’s properties, but i got it. Enjoy!!
