First off, for all military people in Naples who actually read this blog, there is a celebrity basketball game Friday evening at 1800 at the Support Site Gym. Yours truly will be suiting up and dunking on Terrell Owens (he doesn’t know that yet..). Well, that probably won’t happen, but it should be fun to watch. There are some actors from shows like NCIS, CSI, and others that will be suiting up as well. Come out and support if you are free!
Valencia… One of the most “modern” cities I have been to in Europe. It truly is the city of arts and sciences. Walking around taking in the sharp, futuristic offices and museums thrown in with the historic churches and buildings actually works here. Running down the center of the city is this amazing park, well kept and utilized by tourists and locals alike. Weird to see, considering the last 2 years living in Naples has been more of an “opposite” experience. I won’t get into it right now, but there is a significant trash problem currently going on which has already made national headlines. I would like to go shoot some of it but I’m afraid I might get kidnapped by the mafia… 😛 Anyways, on to the first set of Pictures, all shot with my Nikon D7000 and HDR processed with Photomatix.
I did some homework beforehand, deciding I wanted to shoot the Palau de les Artes in the early evening. I could not have asked for a more beautiful day… Here are the first few shots for my, lets say 3 day series. Don’t get too excited! No captions here, all of the same area. Just enjoy the photos!
Thanks for visiting. Check back tomorrow!
